Does clomid really make your period late? My period is going on 4 days late. I am hoping for a pregnancy but I have heard that clomid makes your cycle late. How late does it make your period? Clomid is a fertility drug that make you ovulate!

On Clomid, period 4 days late could I be pregant? I am on my second month of clomid and I have ovulated this month it is the first time that I have done in years!!! I am 4 days late and I have done a hpt on the 1st day of missed period but was negative, is there still a chance that I could be pregnant. I was 11 days late last month but I never ovulated.

I don't think there is a chance that im preggers. wish there was. I think all you can do is test in a couple of days and see then, if u still don't have AF then see doc for blood test. You can't really tell if you have conceived by cm straight away but I'll tell you what happened to me when I conceived (I was charting my cm in my diary) The day I ovulated and concieved I had absolutely loads of whiteish clear eggwhite cm (I'll call this day 1) Day 2: back ache, cervix low, white creamy cm- not much of. Day 3: cervix really low, very hard, hardly any cm at all, just a little bit of white scanty cm. Day 4: cervix really low and hard, next to no cm, then a bit of snotty slight yellow tinge to cm in afternoon. Day 5: cervix very low, a bit softer yellow tinge to cm. Day 6: cervix low same as day 5 wet slimy snotty cm Day 7: cervix low very wet slimy yellow tinge cm Day 8: cervix low pulled out a blob of slimy snotty brown/ dark pink cm with tiny red specks in it- then nothing back to low very hard tightly closed cervix. This was implantation bleed. Felt really tired, had lots of saliva could hardly sleep because of it. Day 9:Did a 10miu home pregnancy test that I ordered online and got a very very faint positive. Cervix low hard white sticky cm. Day 10: Another very faint positive 10miu test. Went for doctors blood test (came back negative) Lots of creamy yellow tinge cm (nearly leaking into knickers) Day 11: Another very faint positive 10miu test but a bit easier to see than yesterday. Lots of white creamy cm coming out into knickers. Day 12: Another faint positive 10miu test, Did clearblue digital test with same urine came back negative. Another doctors blood test- came back negative. Day 13: Tried a cartridge 10miu test came back strong positive realised I was defiantly pregnant even though the blood test and clearblue said not! Day 14: Another clear positive with 10miu test. Day 15: Finally clearblue digital test came back 'Pregnant' positive! Try these tests they are really cheap (around £6 for 5 tests). Can Clomid 50mg course a late period as a side affect? My period range from a 27-30 day cyle, I was suppose to get my period between the days of April 25-28, And today is May 4th, Do you think this is one of the clomid side effects? I am waiting for a while before I take a pregnancy test, I think its to early to take one. I was on a regular cycle for 5 months now so am hoping its not and irregular period, am having my fingers cross, both of my breast are real tender, am having light cramps but no period, the cramps comes and go, disorder lower stomach, I had headaches last week. But am mostly asking you do clomid course your period be late or do you think those signs that am having are signs of pregnancy?

I took Clomid too and did not experience a difference in the length of my cycles - HOWEVER, I tend to have LONG cycles. If you were experiencing fairly regular cycles I say... go get a home pregnancy test. You're late now by about a week so its a good time to get tested by doing a home test. Your symptoms can be true of a positive pregnancy, or it could be PMS or it could be your body making physiological symptoms as a result of you wanting to become pregnant. Can Clomid make your period be late? I am on round 1 of Clomid and am a day late. Everyone says that Clomid will mimick pregnancy symptoms and someone even told me Clomid will give a false positive on a pregnancy test. So... with this being told to me... and my period being late... do I test or do I wait to see if Clomid is making me late? I mean if I will probably get a false positive, what is the point really? It won't be true if it says positive.

Just be sure that if you get a positive, then call your doctor and get a blood test to confirm. I had a false positive on my first round of clomid. So, I know what you are talking about.. Kerry J replied: "Hey i have just finished 6 rounds of Clomid and i often had signs of pregnancy or severe AF symptoms as they are meant to be sooo similar annoyingly. I actually have never heard of a false positive through Clomid, maybe that was a faulty test for previous answer, not sure?? My specialist never warned me of this!!?? I havent seen it upon my research either, so i think if it does, it really has been a low %. I have never had a BFP in mths of Clomid! Im 3 days late though now, and had on off light brown spotting and nothing still, no other sign of AF and spotting is dissapearing and changing clear then light brown, im going mad argggggh!, I had a BFN mon so reluctant to test...! My cycles were 42days and clomid got them down to 30 days as a rule on CLomid but if you have a 28day, it can make them a little longer! If you cant hold out any longer, get Clear Blue Digital as more sensitive . . .the longer you wat, the more accurate your test would be but with being late, its very likely your result would be accurate! Can Clomid use make your period late? This past cycle was my first round with clomid. I went online with the ovulation predictor calculator to see when I should ovulate, during the days predicted I had alot of cervical mucus, so now here we are my periods are usually 30 days apart so yesterday I was due to start, nothing happened even as of today. Took HPT today said neg. I am very tired for the past week, breast tenderness and MOODY (which is not like me) and starving! and slight cramping in lower abdomen just above pelvic bone (on side). on clomid period is late preg test neg? I took the second dose of clomid a month ago. my period is always normally on time. My period is now 8 days late. Took preg test on Tuesday which was negative. I ovulated for some reason on day 18 of my cycle and I only knew because my doc. told me on day 14 my eggs where still not developed enough. Clomid messes with the ovulation cycle and 10-14 days after ovulation if conception did not take place your period should start. why is my period late after takin clomid? i have completed my first months supply of clomid and am now 4 days late for my period, i usually get tender and achey breast the week before i am due but i havent had anything like that so far, my stomach is hard and slightly bloated and feels tender inside when u push on it, also i have had a lot more discharge than i normally would in the leautal phase, i have done a pregnancy test this morning but it read negative can some one help me please

Melissa R replied: "Sometimes clomid can cause longer cycles. When I was on clomid I have 35 day cycles. If you don't get af by day 36, take another test. If you are taking clomid for PCOS and are not PG you may need some provera to jump start your cycle."

I am due to start on the 30th and had no sign until today and I had a brownish discharge but do not feel like it is coming. If I was you I would wait 3-5 more days and take anothr test. Should taking Clomid make my period late? and I know I'm not pregnant because when I went to get my progesterone checked on day 21 it was only a 6. So I prob didnt even ovulate. My periods are never late so this is uncommon.

Many things could have affected that test (they call it a "day 21" test, but it should actually be a 7 day past ovulation test. If you ovulated on day 18, obviously your progesterone levels would be lower because they are still rising). So, if the timing was off, it could affect the test. Also, keep in mind that progesterone levels tell you NOTHING about pregnancy. I wouldn't count pregnancy out just yet! If you ovulated (which the test indicates you did), and your period is late, you very well may be pregnant. Good luck and lots of baby dust!!!"

Late period on Clomid? Hey! Really need some input! This is my second cycle of Clomid, my period is three days late, and I've gotten a BFN on a HPT. I had some spotting yesterday, and three days ago, both times I thought my period was coming (although none of these times has been like my first period on Clomid). So today is CD 33, when it should only have been 30 days, according to my previous times on Clomid. What do you guys think? Am I still testing too early? What's the deal here?
